As the title says, we're on the move… We're moving to a new apartment across the town and because of this, we have our fair share of downtime. However, in order to keep the pain as little as possible, we take the time to migrate the system to a new setup on a whole new machine.
The new system has the following hardware/setup:
This machine is running Ubuntu Server 9.10 with qemu-kvm as the virtualization environment. Currently we're running 6 instances of FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE-p1 which are meant to handle services such as web, mail, databases, dns, voip, etc. We're using all the time available to get the new system fully running and we hope to go live on the 4th of January, but we reserve the rights to further delay this ETA for now.
